We had a very fun, but very busy, week! Arlo had playdates with P’Kate and (separately) with Martin. And we finally went to check out Pororo Aqua Park, the waterpark on top of Central Bangna. It was a blast for everyone, but maybe a little too long in the sun!

Welcome back! These two are celebrating the last day of Arlo's school holiday with shared noodles.
View fullsize
And a quick trip to Makro with Dad.
View fullsize
Look at this smile. Even in the bath.
View fullsize
Saturday morning: someone took the memo to heart and slept in.
View fullsize
Lucy peels her own eggs now.
View fullsize
Entertaining themselves while waiting for P'Kate to arrive.
View fullsize
We wanted to get in an "early" swim before it got too hot, but didn't really succeed at that.
View fullsize
Uh oh! We lost Lucy during the house tour.
View fullsize
Lunch time!
View fullsize
Arlo and P'Kate play together very well.
View fullsize
Enjoying honey tea...
View fullsize
... and sticky rice.
View fullsize
Lucy didn't get a chance to draw with the big kids, so now it's her turn.
View fullsize
Watching Izzy's Koala World together.
View fullsize
Special Sunday activity: water park atop Central Bangna. First job: finding the entrance!
View fullsize
It's very nicely geared toward little kids (with some attractions for adults, too.)
View fullsize
Warming up with a little slide.
View fullsize
That escalated quickly.
View fullsize
Checking out one of the many pools.
View fullsize
Cautiously following in her brother's footsteps (splashes).
View fullsize
There was one adult slide that Arlo was tall enough for. So here we are, climbing up.
View fullsize
Enjoying the lazy river.
View fullsize
And back at the smallest slides.
View fullsize
Before you get too concerned: yes, this was intentional!
View fullsize
Could have foreseen this, I guess.
View fullsize
Another whirl around the lazy river.
View fullsize
And then lunch break: classic water park meal of fries and omelette on rice.
View fullsize
Arlo really wanted to rent one of these paddle boats.
View fullsize
He was kind enough to let his sister ride, too.
View fullsize
Which meant a few child-free minutes for dad to just bob around.
View fullsize
Lucy found a novel way to ride the donut.
View fullsize
Trying some of the medium-sized slides.
View fullsize
View from the top. It's pretty respectable for a shopping mall watepark!
View fullsize
Out within minutes. (Possibly from heatstroke.)
View fullsize
Inspired by the neighbors to draw with sidewalk chalk. Good thing we had 2 pieces on hand!
View fullsize
Special Monday alert!! It's a holiday for Mum & Dad, but Arlo has school!
View fullsize
A trip to everyone's favorite store!
View fullsize
(At least Lucy came away with a new helmet.)
View fullsize
And afternoon ice cream, before her brother returns home.
View fullsize
The Commander in Chief.
View fullsize
After school, Arlo's BFF Martin came over to play.
View fullsize
Martin is not as enthusiastic about swimming though, so he watched from the sides.
View fullsize
Alert! New flower coming!
View fullsize
It's picture day at school today, too. Arlo is practicing with Dad.
View fullsize
It's that time of year: time to get a new pair of glasses before the insurance year runs out.
View fullsize
Arlo dashed up to the office to show me this.
View fullsize
Lucy's trying out her new helmet...
View fullsize
... and Thomas approves!
View fullsize
Enjoying the delicious "cat tongue" cookies that Martin's family gave us (from Hokkaido).
View fullsize
Waking up and watching the tennis lessons out back.
View fullsize
Riding the giant rocking horse.
View fullsize
Lucy calls the tongs "chopsticks". Close.
View fullsize
More after-dinner ice cream.
View fullsize
Arlo's hide-and-seek hiding place was not very subtle.
View fullsize
Good bye for now, from at least one person who's not camera shy!
