Bangkok Week 818

We had a very fun, but very busy, week! Arlo had playdates with P’Kate and (separately) with Martin. And we finally went to check out Pororo Aqua Park, the waterpark on top of Central Bangna. It was a blast for everyone, but maybe a little too long in the sun!

Welcome back! These two are celebrating the last day of Arlo's school holiday with shared noodles.

And a quick trip to Makro with Dad.

Saturday morning: someone took the memo to heart and slept in.

We wanted to get in an "early" swim before it got too hot, but didn't really succeed at that.

Special Sunday activity: water park atop Central Bangna. First job: finding the entrance!

And then lunch break: classic water park meal of fries and omelette on rice.

Arlo really wanted to rent one of these paddle boats.

He was kind enough to let his sister ride, too.

Which meant a few child-free minutes for dad to just bob around.

Lucy found a novel way to ride the donut.

Inspired by the neighbors to draw with sidewalk chalk. Good thing we had 2 pieces on hand!

Special Monday alert!! It's a holiday for Mum & Dad, but Arlo has school!

A trip to everyone's favorite store!

(At least Lucy came away with a new helmet.)

And afternoon ice cream, before her brother returns home.

After school, Arlo's BFF Martin came over to play.

Martin is not as enthusiastic about swimming though, so he watched from the sides.

It's picture day at school today, too. Arlo is practicing with Dad.

It's that time of year: time to get a new pair of glasses before the insurance year runs out.
