It's Friday, and Arlo's still on holiday. So Mum's taking Lucy to the cafe...

Songkran holidays may officially be over, but it lasts the whole month of March in our Moo Baan!

Back at home, Lucy continues to rest up on her favorite lounger.

Operation palm lift: adopting two lovely plants from a family that's leaving Bangkok soon.

But it's a good thing we didn't bring anyone else along for the ride. These plants take up the entire car!!

... a brand new Playmobil police motorcycle and thief-on-skateboard! How did he know Arlo doesn't have these yet!?

Arlo's thrilled! The policeman has a helmet with a visor; and the thief has a mobile phone and a bag of loot! Wow!

Arlo's cactus is going through a sudden growth spurt...

... this entire paddle has grown out of nowhere in the past few weeks!

Late Sunday afternoon, we take a drive over to Benjakitti Park...

... to finally check out the new, much-hyped Forest Park.

The new Forest Park is huge -- maybe around 48 hectares -- and features elevated walkways over top a variety of landscapes and plantscapes below.

They did well by preserving the big, old trees from the Tobacco Monopoly land.

It really is a refuge from the big city, right in the middle of the city.

Lucy was awake to see a lot of it, too.

Hopefully more wildlife will start to inhabit the area now that the construction is complete.

They are very natural islands, after all.

It was a tiring, late afternoon. But we came home to a delicious Japanese feast prepared by Granny! Yum!

Monday morning: Arlo's first day back at school after a 2-week break, and Grandpa's last opportunity to take Arlo to school.

Also, Grandpa's last opportunity to pick Arlo up from school and take him home on the Tuk Tuk. Oh no!

Meanwhile, Lucy is chilling at home, enjoying the peace and quiet.
