A new week? This is what Lucy has to say about it!

Today is the last day of school before the Songkran break. Arlo's excited to be wearing his Songkran shirt.

Still good at the mat...

... and somehow Dad and Arlo seem to have the whole pool to themselves.

They all stopped at Holey on the way home from swimming... and Grandpa treated Arlo to this delicious chocolate cookie.

Then, we're off to a special welcome-to-Bangkok lunch for Grandpa. Here's how we all fit into our tiny car!

Then, after much waiting (and postponement due to someone's birth) we finally make it to a Toyota dealership to check out the new Veloz in person.

Amazingly, you can fit two large farangs in the third row!

Grandpa's slowly becoming part of Arlo's entertainment repertoire.

Well, someone's used to being in the carrier now. That's the good news.

But it also means she's wide awake at bedtime!

Oh! Mum and Lucy are inadvertently matching today! How about that!

Arlo has an appointment for his annual flu shot this morning.

Even though he's not sick today, Arlo peeks into the sick kid side to check out the train.

Waiting patiently with Mum, while his doctor runs late.

And enjoying the tiny hospital water bottles.

So much waiting this morning: now waiting patiently for the car.

... interrupted by a trip to the flower nursery -- and specifically, the cactus house.

Arlo asked to look around the cactus house with Grandpa.

And no visit to the farm is complete without an ice cream picnic.

This time, Arlo's trying strawberry. (But only because they were out of mint.)

Everyone enjoying the break. Poor Lucy, is as flat as a pancake.

Granny kindly made Songkran dinner: Japanese curry and pork katsu. Yum!

Thursday morning: starting Day 2 of Songkran with a nice warm bath.

Arlo's excited to have a chance to wear his OTHER Songkran shirt.

Wearing another new floral outfit. Lucy's not sure about all this pink!

Piling into the car again, to take advantage of the good air...

... to show Grandpa around the park!

There's no shortage of beautiful flowers to look at.

It's so empty today, even Mum can play on the jungle gym!

Big Boy Arlo is all ready to go down the big slide.

Arlo climbed the bars all by himself, for the first time ever.

And he even figured out how to climb inside.

Big Boy Arlo wanted to carry the giant parasol all by himself.

We gave the volley ball players a good audience.

And let's not forget: today is the 14th! Arlo's now closer to 3 years old than he is to 2.

And at long last, Arlo gets another haircut! It's been about 5 months since the last one in November.

Not quite as professional as his last haircut...

... but he was much more at ease this time!

This hair dresser is trying hard to replicate the YouTube tutorial she just washed.

Someone seems pleased with the result... or maybe he was just pleased that he could watch truck videos the whole time.

Not TOO bad, if I may say so myself.

And enjoying another Songkran hurrah, with a late-afternoon trip around the block.
