Bangkok Week 821

Arlo wraps up Math Week at school; we have a busy weekend around town; and then our little Monkey Lucy turns 2 years old this week! Happy birthday, Lucy!

Welcome back! Lucy is her own boss now, can you tell?

Arlo is getting excited and counting his coins, because there's going to be a big spending opportunity at school this morning!

The culmination of Math Week is the Annabel's Market!

Arlo's class was selling fresh waffles. 10 baht per waffle, plus 1 baht for each square that you fill with a topping.

Arlo kindly bought Mum an iced coffee from the coffee shop.

And then he bought himself some lemonade.

We thought about buying a brownie, but by this time, Arlo decided he'd like to save the rest of his money. Good instincts, Arlo!

Special Saturday activity!

A visit to Bangkok Prep, for their annual Open House!

The Primary Campus facilities are brand new, and beautiful!

Everyone loved playing on the jungle gym and slide.

Checking out the Early Years classrooms.

And the Early Years playground -- much more Lucy's speed.

They had lots of activities -- including rock painting, which Lucy really took to!

Arlo's hands are full now, I guess we can head home. Nice school!

If that weren't enough, it's time for a swim lesson...

... and then even more swimming!

Spending the morning at the park. We haven't been in a while!

After finishing her chocolate milk, she then drank Dad's large soy milk!

If we can't swing, then at least we can see-saw!

Back at school on Monday, Arlo's almost doing the full monkey bars!

Coming home to celebrate someone's birthday tomorrow!
