Bangkok Week 782

We enjoyed a fun Saturday morning at the park this week. Lucy turned 1 year and 3 months old. The renovation at the new house is well underway. And we celebrate Yaa’s birthday, Auntie Julia’s birthday, and Father’s Day for Grandpa!

Helping Dad was the A/C in his bedroom.

Construction update: the piping for the new electric wiring has arrived.

They've removed the wooden floor where the new bathroom will go.

The master bathroom wall has been opened up, since the door will be moving.

And the signature round shower from Arlo's bathroom has been removed.

There's never a visit without a trip to the playground!

Back at home, Lucy Is getting pretty proficient on her ladder. She was able to climb, and then turn herself around.

And ending this week with an adventure, all the way at Rajamankala National Stadium.

Mum hasn't been here since Lady Gaga in May 2012, so it's definitely Arlo's first time.

And one of many ambulances on-site. They might have been one of the highlights for Arlo.

It's Australia (yellow) vs. Tajikistan, in the 2023 AFC U17 Asia Cup.

Arlo was a great sport the entire evening, and seemed to enjoy himself.

I'd hardly say the stadium was full, with a capacity of 65,000. We think we were 2 of 4 local spectators who showed up.

After a run-in with the folding chairs, Arlo decided to sit on the stairs instead. Why not!

Enthusiastically supporting the Aussies. "The yellow team."
