Another hot, busy week. We return to Lumpini Park for the first time since … September 2021, when we went with Granny? We collectively enjoy 4 swimming lessons. Arlo turns 3 years and 8 months old this week. And he enjoys a great adventure with Dad, to the book store and back.

Boo! We're back! And Lucy is really into pop-up books these days!
View fullsize

It's a meeting of the bikes outside school this morning.
View fullsize

Arlo's doing his part to contribute to the class artwork.
View fullsize

Helping tend to the beanstalks of one of his classmates, who was out today.
View fullsize

Meanwhile, Lucy's happy to be at swimming.
View fullsize

She can kick on her own when she wants to.
View fullsize

Lucy also enjoys using the noodle -- it provides such a bouncy buoyancy.
View fullsize

And cup conditioning. Everyone's favorite.
View fullsize

Back again? This afternoon, Arlo has the first of many make-up lessons.
View fullsize

Entertaining herself at dinner with Hippoposites.
View fullsize

Going straight for the abstract opposites. Forget big and small!
View fullsize

Celebrating the weekend with an outing to everyone's favorite park: Lumpini.
View fullsize

It's not quite 10:00 yet, so we have to walk the bike for a few more minutes.
View fullsize

And now: go!
View fullsize

The island in the middle of the pond is a nice, shaded spot to cycle.
View fullsize

Stopping to get a good look at the giant fountain. A natural geiser, right?
View fullsize

Smile everyone.
View fullsize

And this photo is for Granny. In fact, we're pretty sure we heard him say, "Where's Naomi?"
View fullsize

Continuing along, in the hot shade.
View fullsize

Zoom! Arlo comes speeding down the bridge.
View fullsize

Quick stop at the playground.
View fullsize

It's really not a good time of day to be at the playground; this is the only little patch of shade there was.
View fullsize

Arlo found a great bunch of eucalyptus leaf.
View fullsize

Getting ready to head back.
View fullsize

Lucy doesn't get the appeal of this park. Too hot, to sunny, too many larger-than-life lizards.
View fullsize

Back at the car with cold drinks for everyone. Good job, team!
View fullsize

And back home: it's time to change into dry clothes, but Lucy would much rather hang out like this.
View fullsize

Good. Belly button's still there. Just checking.
View fullsize

Passed out from the heat.
View fullsize

Aww. Why he looks so peaceful when he sleeps.
View fullsize

Quick afternoon trip to the veggie store across the street. Lucy is quite pleased that she's able to walk around there on her own.
View fullsize

Trying to get a side-by-side standing photo. This is pretty much as good as it gets.
View fullsize

Walking back with Dad. So cute!
View fullsize

Lounging around on Sunday morning. Who needs to get dressed?
View fullsize

Showing off his head of nice, fluffy hair.
View fullsize

Enjoying a peanut butter breakfast.
View fullsize

Oh my! Our not-so-small boy turns 3 years and 8 months old today!
View fullsize

Meanwhile, this goofus is enjoying herself at the window.
View fullsize

This is the textbook illustration of "big, toothy grin."
View fullsize

Who, me???
View fullsize

Someone's getting a little big to use the changing tables at swimming!
View fullsize

Spotted on the balcony: a "new" old Big Bobby Car.
View fullsize

It's for both Lucy and Arlo to share. Let's see how that goes!
View fullsize

A Sunday afternoon special: a make-up lesson for Lucy.
View fullsize

She's not complaining.
View fullsize

Meanwhile, Dad and Arlo pop over to the new house to check in and drop off some things.
View fullsize

The make-up class was with kids 1-2 years older than Lucy...
View fullsize

... but they were great role models for her. Kick kick kick, Lucy!
View fullsize

Bye bye, teacher Big. See you next make-up!
View fullsize

It's North American Mother's Day, and Arlo and Lucy have a message for Granny.
View fullsize

But I hate to say, the iPad is more interesting than the message itself.
View fullsize

Happy Mother's Day, Granny!
View fullsize

Group shot!
View fullsize

Oh?
View fullsize

On Monday morning, after much careful observation, Lucy got ready for school too!
View fullsize

Wait, p'Arlo, you're forgetting me!
View fullsize

And here's the Koala, back in his element after a weekend away.
View fullsize

Dinner tonight is served inside the garage.
View fullsize

Lucy's enjoying herself on the mat.
View fullsize

What a clown!
View fullsize

Someone will be a climber! Up she goes, using nothing but strength and friction.
View fullsize

After 3 years and 8 months, finally figuring out where the diaper is supposed to go!
View fullsize

Enjoying the morning view, and checking in on the grannies across the street.
View fullsize

The mechanic is fixing up his car before heading out for the day.
View fullsize

A fun new game at school using -- what are these? CDs?
View fullsize

The koala in his tree, munching on some fresh green leaf.
View fullsize

Playing with the magnetiles from Granny.
View fullsize

And Lucy's figured out how to roll cars around.
View fullsize

Getting a good cleaning from her brother... and a nip slip.
View fullsize

Arlo's ready to drive away! Finally!
View fullsize

Wishfully watching P'Noi head home for the night.
View fullsize

Oh, and a big hug for his sister.
View fullsize

Early morning playing together... when the stars align.
View fullsize

Lucy is really into hanging out with the cute girl in the mirror.
View fullsize

The girl makes her crack up!
View fullsize

Comparing tummies...
View fullsize

... and doing High 10 together.
View fullsize

The girl can even scream at the same time as Lucy!
View fullsize

Ready to head to school again the next morning.
View fullsize

Lucky Arlo: he's headed off on an adventure with Dad.
View fullsize

First up: an electric tuk tuk ride all the way down and over to Sukhumvit at Phrom Phong.
View fullsize

And then a fresh ice cream scoop.
View fullsize

Yum!
View fullsize

Then browsing the book store...
View fullsize

... and learning that he can just sit and read the books right there!
View fullsize

And capping it off with a taxi ride home. What a fun outing!
View fullsize

Lucy's new look: exercise headband!
View fullsize

Well, she tolerates it for longer than a hair tie!
View fullsize

That ball looks an awful lot like Lucy!
View fullsize

Of course, Arlo wants to get in, too!
View fullsize

Whoops, that was bound to happen.
View fullsize

Arlo's new favorite routine: a 4 o'clock bike ride back-and-forth at the corner.
View fullsize

Arlo brought his beanstalks home today...
View fullsize

... and it's time to give them a munch!
View fullsize

Mixed reviews, from the leaf expert.
View fullsize

Lucy's all ready for bed, so we'll say good night and good bye!
