Bangkok Week 715

It was a week of mixed emotions! Granny arrived on Tuesday morning! But poor Arlo was sick for the entire week, and only went to school for one half-day. Arlo can’t wait to try out his new ice skates!

The Serial Pickler, probably Bangkok's most well-known (western) pickle makers, just relocated to Ekkamai 12. So we stopped by on the way to pick up Arlo from school.

20 kinds of pickles to choose from: sold both in jars and industrial-grade bags.

Meanwhile, operation re-wire is in Week 3 along Ekkamai 12.

And the highlight of Arlo's day: getting to drive himself home in the tuk-tuk!

It doesn't stop him from chatting all the while, though.

It's Saturday swimming time!

This was a breakthrough lesson for Arlo. He really started swimming on his own!

He still enjoys using the knotted noodle.

Granny accompanied Arlo to school; and then she also came to pick him up (after he was sent home early).

They fit! And Arlo couldn't be happier.
