Bangkok Week 761

Not-so-little-Lucy turns 10 months old this week! She has her first dentist appointment (along with her brother), and otherwise, we enjoy a nice low-key week at home.

Happy 10-month birthday, Lucy!

Can't believe you'll be turning 1 in less than 2 months!

To celebrate, Lucy has a good workout at swimming.

A new exercise: floating while holding only 2 fingers.

And as always, her favorite exercise: sitting on the mat, and staring at the other babies!

Then, Lucy goes to school to pick Arlo up.

Entirely out-of-character, Arlo went running up to Lucy saying, "Hi, Lucy! I love you Lucy!" and gave her a big hug. Showing off for all the right reasons.

Both of them have dentist appointments...

... and then enjoy a few minutes in the mini-park afterward.

Doesn't Lucy look tall and grown up sitting like this?

My teeth are doing well, thank you!

Her first time inside the tunnel was met with mixed reviews.

The slides are fun for climbing up; less so for sliding down.

And back at home, her climbing around continues.

Lucy's not convinced that brushing with a proper brush and toothpaste was the right recommendation. Maybe Mum and Dad misheard the dentist.

Someone's intent on sleeping in her birthday suit tonight.

Nibbling on some tractor wheels for breakfast; shh, don't tell Arlo!

Dad bought Arlo a delicious cake after swimming, from the cafe down the road.

Well anyway, the icing is delicious!

An experiment in self-control: Lucy's first foray into finger painting.

Yes, she tried to eat the paint in many different ways.

Glancing down and realizing that her tummy is very round, and very covered in paint.

Verdict? Mixed results. We may not be trying this again for a few months... until the urge to eat *everything* has subsided.
