Friday night dinner at Greyhound (Thonglor). We haven't been here in ages.

Enjoying his home-made Japanese curry and omelette.

And off to Munich! Careful to avoid Pakistani airspace.

It's a full-on snowstorm by the time I reach the hotel.

Oh-my-gosh, this country is made for me. The office kitchen has a "Museli drawer".

And best of all! This office has a Paternoster! I never thought I'd see one in real life.

And now time for a scenic walk to work. We start at Karlsplatz.

And Karlstor, the gate into the old city.

Strolling along Neuhauser, one of the main walking streets.

Many picturesque old buildings.

Most are now storefronts for global brands.

Too early in the morning to peek inside any of them.

Okay, decidedly not a high street brand.

Frauenkirche, the iconic Gothic church... which is almost impossible to photograph from the outside.

It was very windy! No bike spared.

That night, we tried our hand at Bavarian curling.

And a final farewell to wet Munich -- the way it looked on most other days.
